Join us on November 29 for a special Advent performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s cantata, Watchet Auf. (Sleepers Awake) This is one of Bach’s great religious works for chorus and orchestra, and it will feature our own choir along with many other professional and aspiring musicians from around the tri-state area, as well as soloists Adista Wightman and Wayne Walters. Other musicians include violinist Annelie Fahlstedt, oboist Thomas Hines, and organist Christopher Prestia. The conductor will be Jeffery Fornoff, Director of Music for the MUMC. All rehearsals and the performance will be held at the church on 206 East Ann Street.
