As a result of the recent tragic events in India, many members of our conference have contacted the Communications office and the Bishop’s office expressing concern for the well-being of Bishop Devadhar and his extended family. Although the Bishop is still out of the office on renewal leave until December 8th, he had returned to the U.S. prior to the incident in Mumbai that left many dead and injured. He has been in touch with family members who were also not involved in the shootings. Bishop Devadhar is deeply appreciative of the calls of concern. He wishes everyone to be in prayer for comfort and support for the victims and their families. He also asks prayers for the establishment of peace with justice in India and elsewhere in this season as we celebrate the arrival of the Prince of Peace.
