At five p.m. on November 25, congregants began to gather in the fellowship hall for our annual Advent Dinner. The potluck supper is a traditional kickoff to the Advent season. Over seventy people attended, making this our largest celebration yet. A small youth band played Christmas carols as people entered. The opening prayer was said by Mr. Bob Fitch. After a delicious supper, each family received a wreath form and greenery, and proceeded to assemble a beautiful homemade wreath. This much-loved event was enjoyed by all.
Special thanks go to the Stewart and Myer families for donating all the wreath-making materials and to Family Ministries Group for organizing the event.
